  • What are the differences between commercial and domestic scaffolding?

Scaffolding is an essential part of any construction or repair of buildings, allowing workers to work at height in safety. Domestic work on private houses is generally a smaller project than a large construction site, so much will depend on the type of work being carried out. Sometimes, a scaffold tower can provide an excellent solution whereas a replacement roof, for example, would require more extensive scaffolding to be put up. In every case, no matter the size of the project, health and safety is paramount, which is why choosing a fully qualified and insured scaffolder such as R22 Scaffolding (UK) Ltd is essential. Because most houses conform to a similar size and shape, domestic scaffolding methods usually follow a tried and tested method, one which enables scaffolders to get the job done quickly and effectively. For commercial scaffolding, however, the methods often need be altered to accommodate more complex architecture and site layout requirements. Our team of experienced and professional scaffolders have the experience to undertake virtually all scaffolding requirements for any type of project, domestic or commercial.
